What courses does MSRIT offer?

MSRIT offers BE, B.Arch, M.Tech, MCA, MBA, M.Sc(Engg) and Ph.D, programs.

Is there a provision for lateral entry for Diploma Holders?

There is a provision for lateral entry for Diploma holders. But it is only for Karnataka candidates and it is through KEA(Karnataka Examination Authority) for details please visit http://kea.kar.nic.in  During the month of May / June.

There is no provision for non Karnataka candidates. However, the candidate can seek admission to I year BE in the appropriate branch of Engg. For details, please contact in person or email.

 

Is it necessary to appear for GATE qualified candidates to appear for the PGCET for admission to M.Tech?

It is not necessary to appear for the entrance test but the GATE qualified candidates have to submit the application with necessary documents when the application is called during the month of May / June.

Does MSRIT offer part-time M.Tech programs?

MSRIT does not offer part-time M.Tech programs. But it offers M.Sc(Engg) program where students can avail the degree through research. This course does not include any class room studies but students are required to take up certain number of course work.

Does MSRIT offer any short term courses?

No, MSRIT does not offer short term courses regularly. But some short term courses in advanced areas like VLSI design, Embedded systems, Mechatronics etc are offered by M S Ramaiah School of Advanced Studies. For more details visit the website www.msrsas.org

What about programs in science stream (B.Sc, M.Sc etc) and Diploma courses?

M S Ramaiah Degree College offers UG & PG courses in Science. The programs offered by the college include Biotechnology & Computer Science. In addition to this, M S Ramaiah Polytechnic offers 3 year Diploma courses in various streams such as Computer, Electronics & Mechanical. Contact the respective College for more details.

What is the procedure for gaining admission under the management quota?

Candidates seeking admission under management quota can contact in person or email principal@msrit.edu or admn@msrit.edu. MSRIT DOES NOT ENTERTAIN ANY CONSULTANTS / MEDIATORS.
